KCC Hole #6

Kennett Country Club - Hole #6

The first par three at Kennett Country Club.  Club selection is key on this par three and can vary from 2-3 clubs depending  on playing conditions and pin placement. From the tee, the layout of the hole almost looks to dogleg to the right, giving the impression that your tee shot needs to be hit over the out of bounds that runs along the entire length of the right side of the hole.  A large mound protects the left side of the green making chip shots from the left difficult to keep close to a left pin.  The right portion of the green is protected by large trees skirting the edge of the out of bounds. Tee shots hit long or right risk rolling down the slope immediately off the right and behind the green towards out of bounds. The green looks relatively flat with the exception of a mound on the left side which actually moves almost every approach and putt from left to right.
