KCC Hole #4
A slight dogleg left, the par 5 fourth at Kennett Country Club offers another opportunity for birdie. Â From the tee, two large trees stand guard on either side of the fairway at the dogleg, with a large fairway bunker protecting the right side landing area past the dogleg. Â The green may be reached in two from a well placed tee shot to provide an excellent chance for an eagle putt or an up-and-down birdie. Â Out of bounds runs the entire right side of the hole past the dogleg which could come into play if trying to reach this par 5 in two shots. Â A layup approach shot should favor the right side of the fairway to avoid a large tree approximately 75 yards from the green. Â Try to avoid hitting it over the green to prevent a difficult chip shot as the green slopes from back to front favoring an uphill putt from below the hole.
