2010 Friends of Golf

Thank you for your continued support of our Friends of Golf project.  We have a broad base of financial support and continue to need your support year after year.  The more people that help push, the less stress on those that have their shoulder to the wheel when making improvements to the beautiful golf course at Kennett Country Club.

Despite the difficult winter, we hope to restart the Tee Box Projet in the middle of March.  Friend of Golf still has funds available, but may not have enough to complete the Tee Box Project entirely.  The Kennett Country Club has given permission to use dirt from the old winter greens for the project as well as to make additional improvements and corrections to the work completed on the front side in 2009.  If you have suggestions, please contact me.

Please also consider making your 2010 contribution of $200 as soon as possible.  The more funds we have on hand, the better we will be able to plan prior to beginning work in March.  Contributions may be mailed to PO Box 68, Kennett, MO  63857 or given to Mike Long in the Pro Shop.

2009 SEMO Cup This Weekend

The 2009 SEMO Cup matches will take place this weekend at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. A record number of more than 20 KCC member golfers participated in difficult qualifying matches throughout the golf season to accumulate enough points to fill the 8 slots on the team.

Your 2009 SEMO Cup that will be representing Kennett Country Club this weekend is as follows:
