2008 Memorial Day Scramble – Tournament Results

Fourteen teams participated in the 2008 Couples Memorial Day Scramble golf tournament this year.   We did get held up for 30-45 minutes because of the incoming weather, but were able to get back out on the course shortly after the rain stopped.  The 14 teams were split into two flights and golf tournament scoring results are listed below:

2008 MGA Golf Getaway

The Kennett Country Club MGA held the 2nd annual  Golf Getaway party this past weekend at the club.  Last year’s event was a tremendous success as was the 2008 party.  In 2007 this proved to be a major fund-raising event for the KCC Men’s Golf Association and this year was just as successful.

Captain Tony provided an excellent meal to those that attended and excellent entertainment was provided by local Kennett band Jaded.  A total of 96 out of the possible 100 tickets were sold to the event which included dinner for two, live band entertainment and the prize drawings.   The winners of the gift certificate drawings are listed below:

The MGA also provided cameras for attendees to take pictures of the event – look for those be developed and posted on the site sometime in the coming weeks.
